Mdina Grand Prix 2012 Club members participation.

Once a year, the Valletta Grand Prix Committee, organize a racing event in Malta for the classic cars. This year a four day event where held between the 11th and 14th of October 2012 and where held in Mtahleb for the first day and Mdina for the remaining three days.

Several CSCCM members participate for the event in whom some won there class, or even the whole organized event. On the 11th October, Mdina GP Mtahleb Hill Climb sponsored by Thomas Smith, Hubert Camilleri has won the event. Four club members have participated in this event. These are Michele Zarb with his Triumph GT6, Jason Spiteri with his MGB GT, Dion Borg wth his Fiat X19 and Joseph Mifsud with his Triumph Herald. On the 12th October, Concours d’Elegance, one club member participate in this event and won with his Honda S800. On the 13th October, Five club members have participated in this event. These are Michele Zarb with the Triumph GT6, Dion Borg with his Fiat X19 and was first in his class, Jason Spiteri with the MGB GT, Roberto Borg with his Yellow Mini Minor and Joseph Mifsud with his fast Triumph Herald that won this year’s event with an average time of 96.509. On the 14th October, show off racing event where done in the track starring a great battle between Joseph’s Triumph and Mark Mills (UK) with his Anglia. Well done to all the participants and hope that we will see you again next year.
